Archie Lloyd Frye

Archie Lloyd Frye the son of Edd Frye and Pauline Smotherman Frye was born October 26, 1942 in Mountain View, Missouri. After a short illness, Archie passed away at his home near Summersville Friday morning, October 19, 2018 making his age 75 years 11 months and 24 days.

Archie was united in marriage to Beverly Love, to their union two children were born, Cheryl and Billy. He later married Chris Price, to their union they were blessed with one daughter Rhonda.

Archie served in the United States Navy from March 1960 to September 3, 1963, and served in the reserves from September 63 to March 17, 1966.

He attended high school at Mountain View, Missouri. For many years he lived in Louisiana where he worked for a monument company sandblasting headstones. He enjoyed his many friends in Louisiana and his fishing buddies. After he moved to Summersville due to his declining health he wasn’t able to fish as he wanted to.

Preceding Archie in death are his parents Edd and Pauline Frye.

He is survived by his children, daughter Cheryl Shoemaker and husband Jon of Mountain View, Missouri, son Billy Frye of Summersville, daughter Rhonda Foote and husband Jim of Warren, Michigan, his sister Jean Helton and husband Andy of Summersville, grandchildren Jason and John Shoemaker, Owen and Jackson Foote, and 5 nieces, 1 nephew and several cousins.
