Barbara Poe-Steele

Barbara J. Poe-Steele, the daughter of Virgil and Elsie (Gale) Poe, was born on August 8, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri. She passed away on June 27, 2019 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 59.

Barbara was united in marriage to Gary Steele on January 1, 2011.

She enjoyed horseback riding, gardening, her dogs, motorcycle riding and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Elsie Poe and a brother-in-law, D.E. Butch Bay.

Barbara is survived by her husband Gary of the home in Solo; daughters, Tiffany Carr and her husband Nick of Michigan and Lindsey of Solo; 3 granddaughters, Glenna, Genessa and Novella of Michigan; a brother, Otis Poe of Arcadia, MO; sisters, Beverly Bay of Rich Woods, MO, Debra Poe of High Ridge, MO and Mary Ann Poe of Wichita, KS as well as many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations to the Barbara Poe-Steele Memorial Fund in care of Bradford Funeral Home.
