Betty Lou Phillips Pummill Logue, the daughter of Ivan and Flossie (Hall) Phillips, was born February 23, 1946 at West Plains Memorial Hospital and passed away at her home on July 25, 2019 at the age of 73.
Betty was united in marriage to Sam Pummill in December of 1964. To their union 2 children were born, Sheryl and Sammy.
She was saved at a young age and attended her home Church, the Eminence Assembly of God until her health deteriorated.
Betty was the happiest around children and was widely known as “Miss Betty”. She also looked forward to her weekly Sunday BBQ’s with her family.
Betty leaves to mourn her passing, her daughter Sheryl and husband Wayne Bell of Birch Tree, MO; her son, Sammy and wife Alberta Pummill of Summersville, MO; grandchildren, Ryan and wife Chenae Day of Converse, TX, Sami and husband Nate Cash of Birch Tree, MO, Emily Pummill and boyfriend Johnny Jones of Birch Tree, MO and Gabriel Pummill of Summersville, MO; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Esm é Day, Ryli, Landen, Emberlyn and Waylon Cash; her life companion, Kenny Sanders; two brothers, Junior Phillips and Glen Phillips and three sisters, Barbara Morris, Flossie George and Linda Snearly; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Flossie Phillips, her infant sister, Sharon Kay Phillips, her brothers, Alfred Phillips, Merle Phillips Sr. and James Allen “Vic” Phillips, her sisters, Janet Ellis, Lucille Sherrill and Thelma Sherrill and her husband, Charlie Logue.
