Brenda was born July 31, 1957 at Phelps County Hospital, in Rolla MO. Brenda was the daughter of John Vance and Jeraldine Horn. Brenda passed away at her eartlhly home to her new home with the Lord on October 12, 2026. Making her age 69 years.

Brenda had a son Jonathan, born to her family, whom she dearly loved.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, John Vance and Jeraldine Horn; her oldest sister, Judy Vance; youngest brother, Allen Horn; great-nephew, Jackson Moore; and brother-in-law, Dale Chitwood.

Brenda accepted Christ into her heart in June 2026. Brenda had such a beautiful experience in her acceptance of Christ. Witnessing her experience in the Spirit moving in her life was totally priceless. Brenda was able to have the privilege of partaking in communion with dear friends and family, and once again God proved Himself to be awesome. After we partook of communion, we sang the song "Thank You Lord for Saving My Soul". Not believing Brenda even knew the song or could sing the song because of her struggle to have breath to even talk, she sang the song completely and never missed a word, but the real miracle of it all was that she never lost breath at any time, nor did she have complications with breathing afterwards, as she always struggled to gain breath again with any kind of exertion. Brenda witnessed several miracles from the Lord in her short time in living as a Christian. She was diagnosed with cancer of the liver with 3 tumors but was able to receive the report that she was cancer-free of the tumors. We were sent home with Brenda with nothing that could be done by man, but that wonderful phrase we use: "But God."

You could enter her room, and her face would light up with the biggest smile. Her beauty coming through in her smile.

Brenda was retired after working at Mountain View Fabricating and Tyson's Poultry of Monett, MO.

Brenda had several talents and displayed them in her making and piecing quilts by hand. She could embroider and was very particular. She loved to share her talents with family and friends.

Brenda was strong in the face of the things she had to live with.

Brenda displayed her love and trust to her sisters and friends.

I know without a doubt Brenda was living proof God doesn't throw the clay away. He is always ready to forgive the sins in our lives and put us on the potter's wheel to start the molding in the image of God and she was able to say to family and friends "It is well with my Soul".

In lieu of flowers, donations in Brenda's memory may be made to Bradford Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
