Carol Lee Lampone, 85, of Hartshorn, Missouri, passed away at her home on June 7, 2026. She was born August 28, 1940, in New York City, New York, to Robert and Jessie Lillian (Stern) Zeumer.

Carol was united in marriage to Frank Anthony Lampone Sr. on May 3, 1958. To this union, three children were born: Frank Lampone Jr., Steven Lampone Sr., and Lee Lampone Paxton.

Carol grew up in Manhattan, New York. She married in New Jersey and, alongside her husband, raised their family while living in New Jersey, Colorado, Nebraska, and Florida. Throughout the years, she helped build businesses with her husband and also worked remodeling houses. Carol was a devoted mother and homemaker who always put her family first.

She was active as a Den Mother for the Boy Scouts and also helped with the Girl Scouts. Carol attended Life and Praise Temple in Florida and enjoyed listening to Jimmy Swaggart Ministries services in later years.

Carol enjoyed traveling, decorating and remodeling homes, cooking, antiquing, visiting with friends over lunch, and playing cards and dominoes. More than anything, she loved caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Anthony Lampone Sr.; brothers and sisters, Carl, Charlie, Michael, Joyce, Bob, and Christine.

Carol is survived by her sister, Alynn; brother, Jim; children, Frank Lampone Jr., Steven Lampone Sr., and Lee Lampone Paxton; nephew, Marc Zeumer; grandchildren, Vinnie Lampone, Steven Lampone Jr., Stacy Nicole Lampone Rodgers, Tyler Paxton, Shelby Paxton Chaney, Justin Chaney, Kayla Paxton, Tenaya Lampone, and Ron Rodgers; great and great-great-grandchildren, Cameron, Carter, Dakota, Austin, Phoenix, Marjorie, Skye, Josh, Cade, Jessie, Jace, Mia, Waylon, Aiden, and Celina.

Carol will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who devoted her life to caring for those she loved. She had a kind and giving heart and found great joy in spending time with her family and friends. Whether she was traveling, remodeling a home, cooking a meal, or enjoying a game of cards and dominoes, Carol brought warmth and laughter wherever she went. Her strong faith, hardworking spirit, and deep love for her family will be treasured and remembered by all who knew her.
