Charley Dewayne Shoults

Charley Dewayne Shoults, the son of Elmer and Audrey (Briggs) Shoults, was born November 24, 1944 at Hartshorn, Missouri.  He passed away on June 27, 2022 at Phelps Health in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 77.

He was united in marriage to Shirley Enloe on July 6, 1968 and to their union two children were born:  Tammy and Jason.

Charley was saved and baptized during a Revival in Timber, Missouri and later attended the Hartshorn Assembly of God Church and most recently had been attending Valley Center Baptist Church.

Charley loved the outdoors, especially squirrel hunting, going for walks in the woods, mushroom hunting and four wheeling.  He also enjoyed attending the stock car races in Rolla when he was younger and taking his family to the drive-in movies in Houston.  His greatest joy in life was spending time with his kids and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Audrey Shoults; his son Jason and siblings, Van, Denver, Donald and Marcie.

Charley is survived by his daughter Tammy and her husband Shane of West Plains, Missouri; sisters, Darlene of California and Acleda of Raymondville; brothers, James, David and Frankie all of Hartshorn and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
