Claudene Mccallister

Claudene (George) McCallister, a beloved wife and mother, was born November 29, 1938 to Claude and Lorene (Swiney) George near Eminence, Missouri and entered into Heaven on April 25, 2021 in Springfield, Missouri.

Claudene graduated from Eminence High School in 1956.  She married Roy Dean McCallister on October 21, 1956.  After getting married, they moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she attended beauty school and worked for a few years.  After they were blessed with their son, Michael Dean, Claudene stayed home to take care of him.

Claudene lived a full life and enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting and playing games.  She was a Christian and attended Sac River Cowboy Church as long as her health permitted.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael Dean.

Claudene is survived by her husband, Dean of the home; sister, Mary Alice (George) Wright of Springfield, MO; daughter-in-law, Jan McCallister of Willow Springs, MO; sister-in-law, Rosa-Lea Walls and her husband Earl of Summersville, MO and several nieces and extended family, cousins and lots of friends.
