Constance (Connie) E. Hartman

February 25, 1948 — November 21, 2020

Fordland

Constance E. (Tulloch) Hartman of Fordland, Missouri, was born February 25, 1948 in Orange, California to Page H. and Phyllis W. (Jones) Tulloch.  After a long respiratory illness, she went to be with the Lord on November 21, 2020 at Copper Rock Village in Rogersville, Missouri at the age of 72.

She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was a longtime member of The First Christian Church of Summersville.

Connie was united in marriage to the love of her life, Richard Hartman a trooper with the California Highway Patrol, in Escondido, California on April 24, 1971.  Upon Richards early retirement due to a motorcycle accident they moved to southern Missouri, buying a farm near Summersville.  She helped Richard with his heavy equipment business as well as being a devoted mother who was always happy to host a house full of her children’s friends and family.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Page and Phyllis Tulloch; a daughter, Carina J. Hartman; her husband, Richard Hartman; her daughter-in-law, Sarah Hartman and a brother, Thomas Tulloch.

She is survived by her children, Cristen Hartman of Fordland, Missouri, Corri Drum and husband Isaac of Seymour, Missouri; Rob Hartman of Seymour, Missouri and Stacie Hulit Gil and husband Gary of San Diego, California; her grandchildren, Halley Huffman, Lindsay Woolsey, Casidie Gil, Dustin Gil, Wyatt Hartman and Emma Hartman; her siblings, Leslie Tulloch of Campo, California, Pam McPherson of Seymour, Missouri and Page Tulloch of Seattle, Washington along with a host of other family members and friends.

Connie enjoyed studying the Bible, being with family and friends and doing a variety of crafts. Next to her love for the Lord and her family was her love of Quarter Horses. She enjoyed working around the farm tending to the horses and cattle and was an amazing horsewoman with a natural gift for training and working with horses.  When she was no longer able to ride, Connie enjoyed spoiling them with lots of petting and treats.  She shared her love of horses her children and many others as well.  Connie loved to volunteer at Church and school and had a very generous and loving heart and was always the first to offer a helping hand to those in need.  She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
