Dale Karr

Summersville

William Dale Karr was born on April 2, 1935 at Ink, Missouri and was the eldest of three sons to David and Lillie (Shoults) Karr. He passed away suddenly in the early morning hours of January 28, 2020 at his home at the age of 84.

Dale attended grade school at Forrest Glen and high school at Houston and Eminence.

In 1954, while working at Angelica Dale met his future wife, DeLois Frampton, and they spent 64 years together. They were blessed with two children, Rodger in 1956 and Elecia in 1961.

Dale spent his adult life raising and caring for his cattle. His favorite activities included feeding cattle, watching Western movies on TV and eating a bologna sandwich with a home grown tomato! Dale could also be seen every morning and evening reading his bible and devotionals without fail.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Lillie and a brother Robert Karr.

Dale is survived by his wife, DeLois of the home; son Rodger of Clements, MD, daughter Elecia of California, MD, brother Reed Karr of Palm Springs, CA, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
