David Daniel Sonka

David Sonka, the son of Gene and Nina (Cleaver) Sonka, was born November 28, 1954 at Iola, Kansas.  He passed away January 3, 2022 in Washington, Missouri at the age of 67.

David was united in marriage to Connie James on June 24, 1989.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and aunts and uncles.

David is survived by one aunt and uncle of Kansas and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

David lived life to the fullest.  He loved being with people.  If he wasn’t on the phone talking for hours, he was always happiest just spending time with friends and family.  He never met a stranger and made friends easily with his outgoing personality.  He loved to take motorcycle trips, travel and also loved fishing and boating.  Everyone who knew him, knew his love of Elvis music.  He loved to laugh, joke and cut up and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

He will be remembered and missed as a kindhearted, fun loving, one of a kind friend and family guy.
