Donald Lee Tuttle “Tutt” was born March 13, 1959 in Houston, Missouri to Delmer and Ruth (Stark) Tuttle. He passed away September 25, 2020 at the age of 61.
Donald married Barbara Jordan on June 5, 1982. To this union 3 children were born: Angela, Jason and Melissa. Don didn’t often show his feelings but he loved his family with all his heart and he was proud of each and every one of them.
Donald loved being outdoors. He worked in the Timber all his life, first with his brothers, Ron and Gary, then their sons joined the crew. Later, they all branched out and Donald and his son Jason started logging together. Although sometimes he threatened to quit, there was not another job he would have done.
Donald loved spending time on the Current River, whether it be with family or friends camping, 4-wheeling or just spending the day watching canoers.
One of Donald’s favorite time of the year was deer season. Deer camp was something he looked forward to and enjoyed telling and listening to stories of past seasons with friends and family. Many loving memories came from deer camp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmer and Ruth Tuttle and a granddaughter, Hannah Rachelle Johnson.
Donald leaves behind his wife Barbara of their home in Summersville; three children: daughter, Angela Johnson and husband Chance of Summersville, son Jason Tuttle and wife Desiree of Summersville and daughter Melissa Pulliam and husband Runt of Eminence; fourteen grandchildren: Colton, Dawn, Sam, Connor, Carson, Riley, Carlie, Ashlynn, Abby, Molly, Case, Tucker, Malea and Cora; two sisters, Karen McAdams and husband Mike of Ozark and Sharon Cook and husband Jim of Summersville; two brothers: Ron Tuttle and wife Cathy of Summersville and Gary Tuttle and wife Candy of Summersville as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Don and his “Blue Bronco” carry memories for many people. He was known and loved by many and will be greatly missed. He was ab-sa-wutely one of a kind!
