Eric Christopher Meyers

Eric Christopher Meyers, the son of Jeffrey Charles and Sarah Lynn (Jackson) Meyers was born August 1, 2019 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. He passed into the arms of Jesus on November 2, 2019 at St. Louis Children’s Hospital at the age of 3 months and 1 day.

Eric was born on 8-1 coincidentally weighing in at 8 pounds, 1 ounce. He was born a fighter with Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Return and Bi Lateral Kidney Dysplasia and spent the first 2 weeks of his life in St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Then after getting to spend a month at home with his parents and two sisters, he spent the last few weeks in both Columbia and St. Louis Children’s where he remained #ERICSTRONG and fought every day until God called him home.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Barton; grandfather, Joseph Christopher Meyers III; great-grandparents, Frank and Betty Steelman, Edith Meyers and Virgil Barton; as well as an uncle whom he was named after, Eric Douglas Meyers.

Eric is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Sarah Meyers; sisters, Samantha Jo and Abigail Rose all of the home in Jefferson City, grandparents, Delbert Barton of Hartshorn and Ancil and Terrie Jackson of Jefferson City; great-grandmother, Wanda Barton of Mtn. View as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Eric touched many lives in his short time here on earth and he will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.
