Harry Edward Flowers known to his family and friends as “Ed” was the son of Harry Flowers Sr. and Amanda Lucille (Brown) Flowers. He was born September 6, 1940 in Alton, Illinois and passed away at his home in Willow Springs, Missouri, Wednesday, July 6, 2016 making his age 75 years and 10 months.

Ed was blessed with 4 children, Amanda, Catherine, Harry III and Mindy.
He attended Clear Springs Church as long as his health permitted. He served his county in the United States Army from 1958 to 1961 serving in Korea.

Ed loved playing bingo and scratch off tickets. He was an avid Cardinal fan, and watched Midwest Fox Sports, and thought Fox News was the gospel. He was the family comedian and loved making everyone laugh.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents Harry Flowers Sr. and Amanda Flowers, his daughter Catherine Flowers and son Harry Flowers III, two sisters Joyce Pruitt and Judy Easter, two nephews Jerry and Jeff Pruitt.

Ed is survived by his children, Amanda Messex and husband Arnold of Redding, California, Mindy Hosier and husband Robert of Willow Springs, Missouri, sister Vicky Franklin and husband Jimmie of Yukon, Missouri and Ricky Flowers of Gillespie Illinois, 9 grandchildren, Roy White Jr., Shannon Fields, Paula White, Andrea White, Stephanie White, Andrew Flowers, Isabella Flowers, Dylan Hosier and Lucas Hosier; 3 great grandchildren, Catherine Fields, Hailey Fields, and Dante’ Pirritano. He is also survived by many other family members who loved him.
