Jean Northcutt Turner, the daughter of Truman Lee and Opal (Trice) Northcutt, was born August 14, 1932 at Crane Texas.  She entered into her heavenly home on January 11, 2021 in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 88.

She was united in marriage to Ober Dale Turner on February 3, 1950 and to their union two sons were born, Truman Dale and Terry Gene.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband Dale; her son, Truman; her parents, Truman Northcutt and Opal Trice Northcutt; sister in law, Ernestine Jordan and Hubert; brother in law, Bernis Owens; brother in law, Jones Johnson; sister in law, Freda Sells and husband Winston; father and mother in law, Ober and Zenobia Turner.

She is survived by her son Terry and his wife Becky; granddaughter, Courtney Shultz and husband Jeremy; granddaughter, Amanda Chinn and husband Calvin; daughter in law Ann Turner; grandson, T.J. and wife Renne; great granddaughters, Rayne Kelley and husband Ethan, Aliyah, Haylie, Zea and Addyson; great grandsons, Bently and Zaedyn; grandson Nathan and wife Brandy; granddaughter Michelle Migliore and husband Daniel; great granddaughters, Abby and Skylar; grandson, Billy Sircelj; great grandson, Brandon; great granddaughter, Fallon; grandson Michael and wife Alyssa and great granddaughter, Olivia; sisters in law, Hope Owens, Treva Dyer and husband Wayne and Georgia Johnson; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to Dale working in construction, they moved across the country frequently.  They both renewed their faith in the Lord as their Savior in 1957.  From that time on, they found a church home immediately upon arriving in a new place.  Serving in a Church was important to them and they helped in any capacity that was needed.  When arriving in the Pine Crest area they joined First Baptist Church of Summersville where they made many close friends.  Upon Dale’s death, Jean joined First Baptist of Mountain View to attend with her family.

Jean loved traveling, fishing and playing cards with Frank and Bernice.  She also enjoyed volunteering at the local hospital.  She was a loving Nana, made friends easily and touched many lives.  She will be missed by all.
