John Arthur Cross

John Arthur Cross the son of John Lee Cross and Judith Ann Merciel Fox was born March 10, 1965 at St. Louis, Missouri and passed away on June 27, 2019 in Summersville, Missouri at the age of 54.

John was united in marriage to Nessy Brinkman on October 14, 2009.

He grew up in the St. Louis area but also enjoyed spending time in Owensville as well as Summersville.

John enjoyed hunting, fishing, looking for bargains at yard sales, and going to the sale barn. The things he enjoyed the most were spending time with Nessy and the kids as well as getting together with his other family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Lee Cross and Judith Ann Fox and also by his grandparents.

John is survived by his wife Nessy of the home; a sister, Connie and Don of St. Louis, a sister, Tammy and her husband Greg Stringer of Summersville, a brother Danny Cross and his wife Michelle of Imperial, a brother, Jeff Cross and his wife Shannon of Alabama, a brother, Billy Goodwin and his wife Amy of Cabool and a brother, Tim Fox of St. Louis; his children, Frederick Wolfe of Port Arthur, TX, John Anthony Cross and his wife Nicki of Cape Girardeau, Shawn Cross of Cape Girardeau, Michael Cross of Licking, Kendra Cross and Logan Eaton of Cherryville, Amber Cross of Licking, Kyle Cross and his wife Paris of Plato, Brittany Cross of Jackson, Van Gallamore of Poplar Bluff, Shandi Skaggs and Michael of Kennett, Bobbi Skaggs of Kennett, Joshua (OG) Skaggs and Jasen Skaggs both of the home in Summersville. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren with one more on the way as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
