Joyce Ann Jones

Joyce Ann Jones was born December 16, 1956 at Houston, Missouri to Robert L. and Ruthene (Brackett) Jones.  She passed away June 12, 2025 at Houston, Missouri at the age of 68.

She was united in marriage to Robert P. Jones on December 20, 1974 and they were blessed with 4 children, Josh, Wesley, Lekisha and Christina.

Joyce grew up in Missouri and Kansas and graduated high school in Missouri.  She attended college in Norwood.  She worked at Hardees until transitioning into being the cafeteria administrator at Houston Schools until she retired.

She enjoyed attending Brownhill Church.

Joyce enjoyed gardening, going camping, and taking care of and playing with her dogs.  She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, John W. Brackett who was also her fishing buddy and taught her many things growing up; grandmother, Rosie (Stringer) Brackett; her parents, Robert L. and Ruthene Jones; her brother, Kenny Jones as well as a grandson, Jordon.

She is survived by her husband Pat of the home in Houston; son Josh Jones and wife Mandy of Ozark; son, Wesley Brackett and Pam of Florida; Lekisha Anderson of Washington and Christina Smith and Dave of St. Louis; 11 grandchildren; her brother, Robert Leon Jones as well as many other family members and friends.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
