Judith Ann Smith, the daughter of Alfred and Rosalie (Swearengin) Harris, was born April 26, 1948 in Springfield, Missouri.  She passed away on December 12, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 72.

Judy was united in marriage to Lynn Alan Smith on August 2, 1969 and they were blessed with three children, Scottie Lynn, Jason Allen and Dana Lyanne.

She was an active member of the Summersville First Baptist Church and was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star.  Judy was a woman of faith that wished the blessings of the Lord on everyone.  She retired from teaching after 25 years of dedicated service to the Summersville School District.

Judy loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. From making family dinners to following her grandkids activities, these are what brought her the most joy.  She also enjoyed gardening and taking care of her posies.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Lynn; her parents, Alfred and Rosalie Harris; her in-laws, Carl and June Smith; a sister, Carol Jean; brothers-in-law, Paul Ray and Jim Brashers and a sister in law, Connie Jean.

Judy is survived by: her children, Scott and Rhonda Smith of Summersville, Jason and Erin Smith of Huntsville, MO and Dana and Jimmy Buschmann of Summersville; her grandchildren, Jonathan and Kiera Smith of Summersville, Victoria and Roger Porter of Springfield, Corey and Jalyn Smith of Moberly, Patrick Hawkins, Andrew Buschmann and Austin Row of Summersville and Kyle Smith of Huntsville; a great-granddaughter Adalynn Smith; her siblings, James and Ruby Harris of Carthage, MO, Rosie and Gary Weaver of Strafford, MO, Jim and Susan Joplin of Marshfield MO, Bill and Dena Smith of Mountain View, MO, Roy and Glenda Smith of Summersville, Ron Smith of Summersville, Marlene Smith of Summersville, Judy Brashers of Springfield, MO, Janet and Thurlow Barnes of Summersville and Joyce and Mike Powell of Huntsville, MO; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews that held a special place in her heart.

Whether you called her Mom, MaMa, Judy or Ms. Judy, her beautiful smile, infectious laugh and witty sense of humor warmed your heart.
