Justin Ray Strong departed this life to his ever-lasting home at 12:07 a.m. on December the 9th, 2023 at the age of 45 years, 3 months and 5 days at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Justin was born on September 4th, 1978, at Mansfield Hospital in Mansfield, Missouri to Doyce McKinley.

He grew up in Summersville, MO and graduated from Summersville High School in 1998. During his time in school there he met the love of his life, Mary. On October 18th, 2000, he married Mary Wilson. To this union two children were born. Son Dameral Judd Strong and Daughter Samantha Raylee Strong.

He loved spending as much time as he could with his grandkids. If he wasn’t spending time with them, you could often find him hunting, fishing, camping, or watching sports all while hanging out with his kids. The Dallas Cowboy’s Games were a must. One of his favorite things to do was to teach his kids how to make fires in the living room while their mom was working. Teaching his kids how to use guns for the first time provided him with comfort knowing they could protect their own. He loved to let them skip school to do fun activities. Smoking fatties with the family while hanging and playing games was his thing for many years. Toward the end of his departure, you could often find him at church on Sundays with the family he had at Immanual Baptist Church of Nixa, Mo. Finding the lord gave him a different outlook on life one his mom was very happy and proud to share with him.

He left behind the love of his life Mary of Nixa MO, their two children, Judd (Kaylee) Strong; Samantha (Robert) Carley all of Ozark MO; Grandchildren Jordan, Benny, Martin, and Maddy all of Ozark MO. Parents Fred and Doyce McKinley of Ozark MO. Sister Wendy (Wilber) Lewis of Sparta MO. In-laws: Parents Bob and Jenny Wilson; Sisters Tiffany Harris and Victoria (Clifford) Moore; Brothers Robert Wilson and Eric Wilson all of Doniphan MO. Nephews: Tyler Campbell; Shane and Jessie Strong; CJ, Will, Jason, and Silas Moore; Eric Wilson; Hunter Wilson; Cody and Martin Wilson. Nieces: Lacey Campbell; Shylo and Sarah Strong; Breann and Kaitlyn Harris; Hannah Wilson; Lilli Wilson. Bonus Brothers: Dewayne and CJ Wilson; Bob McDowell, and Wesley Segelhorst. He also left behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, and nephews that cared deeply for him. Several friends that will miss him dearly.
