Kelsy Nichole Day

Kelsy Nichole Day the daughter of Kevin Scott Watts and Valerie Dawn Watts was born at the Ozark Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri at 10:31 PM October 24, 1988. Kelsy went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, June 11, 2017 making her age 28 years 7 months and 18 days.

She was united in marriage to Willie Gene Day on July 25, 2010. To their union they were blessed with 5 children, Nicholas, Jacob, Kayleigh, Anthony, and Gabriel.

She was employed at Houston Sportswear in Houston, Missouri. Kelsy attended college at Southwest Baptist University in Mountain View, MO and was getting ready to enroll at the Mountain Grove Campus to further her education.

Kelsy loved family outings such as camping, family barbecues. She loved gardening, flowers, vegetables and fruit gardens. She enjoyed working in the dirt and growing things. She love animals, and sharing them with her children.

Kelsy loved being a mom and wife more than anything.

She is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Wanda Kintner, and Donna Sue Myers, father-in-law Roger Gene Morgan.

Kelsey is survived by her beloved husband, Willie Gene Day and their children, Nicholas, Jacob, Kayleigh, Anthony and Gabriel; her father Kevin Watts of Willow Springs, MO; mother Valerie Watts of Pomona, sisters, Kayla Pribble of Houston, MO, Courtney Risner of Willow Springs, MO, Bethany Sue Watts of Joplin, MO, brothers, Joshua Risner of Mountain Grove, MO, Weston Risner of Pomona, MO, Kaleb Weaver of Conroe, Texas, her grandmother Frances Baldwin of Pomona, MO, and her mother in law Rita Morgan of Licking, MO. She is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members.
