Kenneth Hershel Beasley, the son of Kenneth C. and Norma Jean (Seago) Beasley, was born on October 29, 1962 in Gunnison, Colorado and passed away in Springfield, MO on December 11, 2015, making his age 53 years and 1 month.
Kenny proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from August 1980 thru August 1984. He spent much of his tour at sea, aboard the USS Enterprise, where he enjoyed the privilege of visiting many countries around the world. After an honorable military discharge, he returned to Summersville where he spent the rest of his life. For the last 20 years, he was employed as a machinist at South Central Manufacturing. When not working, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything that involved his kids.
Kenny is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth C. Beasley, and his brother-in-law, Ray Kennedy.
He is survived by his mother, Norma Beasley, his devoted life-partner, Kay White, son, Tanner Beasley of Summersville, his daughter Ashlee Sikes and husband James, and his grandson, Roper James Sikes, of Minden, Louisiana; 3 sisters, Jeanie Estes and husband Jerry of Summersville, Marium Kennedy of Wichita KS, Cindy Henry and husband Dave of Wentzville, MO, and 1 brother, Allen Beasley of Singapore, as well as the mother of his children Tammy Bowlin-Beasley, and several nieces and nephews.
