Mr. Kenneth Russell Miller the son of Charles Frank Miller and June Leon Widener Miller was born on August 28, 1939 in Summersville Missouri.

He passed away at Chariton Specialty Care nursing home in Chariton Iowa on October 9, 2023 he was 84 years old.

He was united in marriage to Carol Jane Miller on May 7, 1962.  To their union they had one son Kenneth Royce Miller. Kenny and Jane were blessed with Jane’s three children, Dean Dawson, Richard Dawson and Debra Dawson.

When he retired Kenny and Jane moved back to Summersville where they were active in the community. They were members of the Summersville Senior Center where they enjoyed volunteering, visiting and playing games with their friends.  Of all the places they have lived they always enjoyed Summersville the most.

When their health began to decline they moved back to Iowa to be near their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Kenny enjoyed spending time with friends and family.  Especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he always said he was grateful he lived long enough to really know.
