Summersville

Kiersten Shaelynn Bradley, the daughter of Allen Bradley and Mandy (Dewitt) Drees was born September 20, 2001 at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Missouri and passed away April 20, 2023 in Texas County making her age 21 years, 7 months.

She was united in marriage to Courtney Mae Weyland on May 10, 2022. To this union one child was born, Makyden Allen Bradley.

Kiersten grew up in Summersville, Missouri where she attended Summersville Schools, graduating in 2020. She worked at UPS and loved her job.

Kiersten was a member of Praise and Worship Church.

Kiersten loved most spending time with her wife Courtney and their beautiful son Makyden. They enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. She also enjoyed spending time with her family playing games, camping or just hanging out. She loved playing basketball and looked forward to sharing that with Makyden. She always said she would teach him, and he would be Awesome which was the way she described herself! Anyone that knew her knew how Awesome she was. Not only because she really was, but because she always made sure to tell them. She wasn’t much for hugging, but she never failed to show you she loved you in her own way. She was loved and cherished by many and will be missed greatly.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Lewis and Louise Bradley, Nona Capps and Ray Schweighauser, Millard and Ruby Terrill and Bill Dewitt; her Papa, Rockey Dewitt and her uncle Wade Mendenhall.

Kiersten is survived by her wife, Courtney and son Makyden; her dad, Allen Bradley and wife Kimberly; mom, Mandy and husband Brent Drees; her brother Austin and his wife Hannah, sister Kailey Bradley, step-brothers, Hunter Drees and Kory and Kai Robertson; grandparents, Larry and Linda Bradley and maw-maw, Mary Dewitt; great-grandpa, Larry Capps; mother-in-law, Liz Weyland and husband David; sister-in-law, Alyssa Weyland and husband James; niece, Aryanna Marhall and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She will be greatly missed. Gone, but never forgotten.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in Kiersten's memory to benefit Courtney and Makyden and may be left at the funeral home or Security Bank.
