Leona N. Lucas

Leona N. Lucas was born July 15, 1946 in Hartshorn, Missouri to Earl Trolinger and Viney Gale.  She passed away October 20, 2022 in Salem, Arkansas at the age of 76.

Leona was united in marriage to William Lucas Jr. on November 7, 1964 and to their union 3 children were born: Genevieve (Jenny), Melba and Robert.

She enjoyed attending Cowboy Church as long as her health permitted.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Trolinger; her mother, Viney Gale; brothers, Winford Jordan, Wayne Jordan, Timothy (Timmy) Lee Lovins and a sister Betty Busse.

Leona is survived by her children, Jenny Spier, Melba George and Robert Lucas; sisters, Wanda Lackey and Judy Jane Trolinger; brothers, Jerry Trolinger and Harley Foster; grandchildren, Billy Hedrick, John (JJ) Lucas, Brandon Spier, Joey Spier, Brentnie Conner, Christina Lucas, Maria French and her great grandchildren.

Leona was a great homemaker who enjoyed dancing, country and gospel music, piano, guitar, crocheting, sewing, arts and crafts, friends and family.  She was also a loving grandmother who made sure that her grandchildren as well as great grandchildren had everything they needed.  She will be surely missed.
