Lewis Denver Schweighauser the son of Donald Allie Rado Schweighauser and Minnie Melvinie Jackson Schweighauser was born in Summersville, Missouri September 26, 1940. Denver passed away at Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 making his age 77 years.
Denver was united in marriage to Sylvia Norris Emerson on July 9, 1960. They were blessed with 4 children, Rose, Trish, Denny and Daniel.
As a young man Denver attended church at the Church of Christ at Flat Rock.
Denver held various jobs to support his family during the years, MFA Feed Store in Summersville, Shannon County road crew. He worked in the timber industry, logging, cutting cordwood and fire wood. He enjoyed farming, raising cattle and hogs.
When he was able he loved to travel, enjoyed listening to music and bowling. When his health declined he moved to Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.
Denver is preceded in death by his parents Allie and Minnie Schweighauser, daughter Patricia Stewart, brothers, Ray, James and an infant brother Donal, and infant sister Ruth.
Denver is survived by his daughter, Rose Vaughn and husband Jim of Hanna, Wyoming, Denny Schweighauser and wife Donna of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Daniel Schweighauser and Becky, son-in-law Donald Stewart, 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 brother Charles Schweighauser of Diggins, Missouri, 1 sister in law Glenda Schweighauser of Summersville, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
