Lillie Alberta "Bertie" Plank

Lillie Alberta Plank was born December 31, 1944 in Phelps County, Missouri to John W. and Juanita Ellen (McBride) Plank.  She passed away at Pineview Christian Home in Summersville, Missouri on February 21, 2024 at the age of 79.

Lillie grew up in St. James, Missouri, and had been a resident at Pineview for many years.  She attended Midvale Church in Summersville, Missouri.

Lillie enjoyed watching Bewitched and listening to Alan Jackson’s song, I’ll Fly Away.  She loved trips to Walmart and KFC and going to get ice cream before going back to Pineview.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Juanita E. Plank; brothers, John W. Plank Jr and Ronnie E. Plank; sisters, Patricia H. Gibbs and husband Harold and Linda L. Hanger and husband Larry as well as several cousins, aunts, uncles, a nephew and great nephew.

Lillie is survived by a sister, Susan A. Hackman and Brian of Imperial, Missouri; brothers, Tom Plank of Flat River, Missouri, and Robert Plank and Judy of Steelville, Missouri; special nieces, Rebecca Gibbs, Sandy Miller, and Carol Shanor of Salem, Missouri as well as 16 nieces and nephews and 34 great nieces and nephews, and her Pineview Family.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
