Lois Jean Patton

Lois Jean Patton was born March 20, 1939 in Ink, Missouri.  She passed into her heavenly home March 30, 2022 in Mountain View, Missouri at age 83.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, James Alfred Patton and Mary Ina Patton, her son Mark Karr, brothers Louis Patton, Vernon Patton, Larry Patton and James (Jack) Patton, and sister Dorothy Winkelman. Jean was also preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter December Samantha (Sam) Karr.

She leaves her surviving children Randy Karr of Verona, Nick Karr of Summersville, Angela Bailey of Rogersville, and Matthew Karr of Republic.  She also leaves her beloved sisters, Wanda Shoults of Summersville and Patricia (Pat) Croy of Versailles. Jean has 12 surviving grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Jean worked at Angelica in Summersville for many years, then moved to Monett to be close to her children and grandchildren.

Jean loved gardening, cooking for her family and taking care of her flowers.

She was greatly loved by her children, grandchildren, sisters, nephews and nieces, family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
