Mark Stark

Junior “Mark” Stark the son of the late Gilbert Manley Stark and Ruby Lee Herrin Stark was born Saturday, July 11th, 1930 in Damascus, Arkansas and passed away at his home in Summersville, Missouri on Tuesday, July 26th, 2016 making his age 86 year and 15 days.
He was united in marriage to Billie Nash and to their union 1 child Shannon was born. They later divorced and he was united in marriage to Violet Irma Stark on May, 2nd, 1986, making their union together 30 years. To their union Violet brought her children Charles, Charlene and Evalena.
Mark served in the Korean War in the United States Army. After serving in the Army he went to work as an auto mechanic for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, he loved gardening, playing Dominoes, watching football and spending time with family.
Preceding him in death is his daughter: Shannon Lawson; siblings: Bill, Artie, Forrest, Gene, Cecil, Norman, 1 infant brother and 2 infant sisters; 1 granddaughter: Sarah Batston.
Surviving is his wife Violet Irma of Summersville; children: Charles A. Anderson of Hartshorn and friend Wilda Miley of Mountain View, Missouri, Charlene and Ken Batston of Salem, Missouri, Evalena and Everett Hollibaugh of Houston, Missouri; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 1 on the way, and a host of many other family members and friends.
He was a loving husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa and will be missed greatly!
