Marvin "Darrell" Nealy

February 23, 1950 — March 30, 2022

St. Charles

Marvin Darrell Nealy of St. Charles, Missouri passed away peacefully at his home with his family at his bedside on March 30, 2022 making his age 72 years, 1 month and 7 days.

Preceding him in death is his father Marvin L. Nealy and his grandparents Calvin and Iva Gale and Herman and Irene Nealy and lifetime friend Fran.

He is survived by his daughters Michelle and her Husband Mathew Ellifrit. and Atisha Nealy and her companion Adam.  And three sons Alexey, Marvin (aka little Darrell), and Noah. He has 6 grandsons and 4 granddaughters. He is also survived by his mother Nova Nealy and two sisters Barbara and Carol and companion Scott, four nephews, James Lee, Kevin, Jesse, Dakota, and a host of family and friends.

Marvin was better known by his middle name Darrell, and most people used it when speaking to him.

Even though Darrell had a host of jobs throughout his life, he loved working for the homeless shelter (Harbor Light) in St. Louis, Missouri. He worked there for thirteen years.

He enjoyed listening to church on tv with his mother Nova, every Sunday. He was a Cardinals Fan. He enjoyed fishing and being by the water, and spending time with his family and his lifetime friend Fran. He enjoyed spending time with his great nephews Logan and Matthew, eating potato chips, drinking sodas and watching tv until late night.

Family and friends will miss him dearly.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations be made to the Antioch Cemetery in memory of Darrell
