Mary Alice (George) Wright was born November 25, 1948 in Eminence, Missouri to Claude and Lorene (Swiney) George. She passed away at 7:30 AM, June 4, 2023 at Brookhaven Healthcare in Springfield, Missouri.
She graduated from Eminence High School and went to work for the US Naval Department in St. Louis. Following her retirement, she moved to Springfield, Missouri in 2012.
Mary was a Christian and attended Church while her health permitted.
She loved to sew and do needle work.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Lorene George; a sister Claudine McCallister and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mary is survived by her daughter Amy, a brother-in-law, Roy Dean McCallister as well as many cousins. She will be missed by many friends and neighbors.
