Matthew Paul Bond, was born January 13, 1984 in Rolla, Missouri to David Bond and Deana (Aldridge) Kelts. He passed away February 3, 2026 at his home in Summersville, Missouri at the age of 42.

He grew up in Summersville, Missouri, where he attended school and graduated in 2002.

Matthew was united in marriage to Charity Allen, and to their union two children were born, MiKayla Bond and Liam Bond. He and Charity later divorced.

Matthew loved to tinker in his shop and working with his hands. He could fix anything and loved making things go faster than they probably should. He also enjoyed making knives and dabbled in welding.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul Dean and Alice Louise (Lay) Aldridge, Claude Clifton (Red) Bond; and by his uncle, Joseph Jesse Aldridge.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Deana Kelts; his father, David and Julie Bond; his daughter, Mikayla Bond; his son, Liam Bond; his brother, William and Michelle Bond; his sisters, Andrea and Heath McNew, and Alicia Bond; his grandchildren, Ryker Henley and Ryatt Henley; his stepbrother, Chritopher and Grace Price; his grandmother, Pansey Bond; and his uncle, Lyndel Aldridge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as many friends and extended family members.

Matthew will be remembered for his inventive spirit, his love of working with his hands, and the pride he took in everything he built and repaired. His family and friends will cherish the memories he created and the legacy of craftsmanship and creativity he leaves behind.
