Maurice J. Eldringhoff

May 18, 1942 — December 16, 2021

Summersville

Maurice Jude Eldringhoff, or Morris as many knew him, was born May 18, 1942 and departed to be present with the Lord, December 16, 2021.

He is survived in this life by his wife of 25 years, Darlene Eldringhoff and 3 step children, Jody, Jada and Jesse Ipock.  Maurice was a grandfather to Jada’s three children, Dilan, Mikayla and Jenna; Jody’s boys Steele and Morgan and Jesse’s son, Destin as well as three great-grandchildren, Josef, Jaxson and Marina.  He also has one surviving brother, Al Henry Eldringhoff as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Maurice was preceded in death by his parents, Conrad and Easter Eldringhoff and eight brothers and sisters, Don, Katherine, Melvin, Electa, Novella, Rosalie, Stephen and Paul.

Maurice Eldringhoff was a man of many talents.  He was at various points in his life a ranch man, a heavy equipment operator and business owner.

Being born and raised in White Church, Missouri into a St. Joseph’s Catholic Church family, he grew up on the family farm where he learned the tricks of his later trade as a ranch man and equipment operator. In his early years he attended school in White Church at St. Joseph’s and later graduated high school at West Plains, Missouri.

In 1996, he met the love of his life and his partner, Darlene Keeling and that same year they were married.  For his last 25 years, he and Darlene lived on their farm in Summersville, Missouri being parents and grandparents to their loving family, tending to the dogs, barking at the chickens and tolerating the horses.

On behalf of the family, we would like to thank everyone for the love shown to us since Maurices passing.
