Mona Marie Lewis

Mona Marie Lewis was born October 8, 1949 at St. Louis, Missouri to Daniel Thomas Heiney and Edna Marie (Headrick) Heiney.  She entered her heavenly home on October 26, 2022 in Summersville, Missouri at the age of 73.

Mona was united in marriage to Wilber Wayne Lewis Sr. on July 24, 1966 and to their union three children were born, Sherri, Wilber Jr. and Angelia.  She followed Wilber wherever the military took them, even spending time overseas.

She was a member of the Big Creek Church and attended as long as her health permitted.

Mona enjoyed crocheting, reading and most of all spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Daniel and Edna Heiney; brothers: Vernon, Danny and Bob; sisters: Vera, Dianna and Mary and a granddaughter, Taylor.

Mona is survived by her husband of over 56 years, Wilber; her children Sherri Pursley (Justin Barton), Wilber Lewis Jr. (Wendy) and Angelia Watson (Kathy Rogers); a sister: Joyce Franklin; brothers: Ivan and Jim; 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.  Mona will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
