Murel Lene (Beasley) Eschrich was born on May 21, 1934 at home near Spring Valley, Missouri to Hershel and Ollie (Knight) Beasley. Murel passed away at Mountain View Healthcare surrounded by family Friday, November 9, 2018, making her age 84 years 5 months and 19 days.
Murel was united in marriage to Jim Ray Eschrich on October 24, 1953, and to their union two children were born, a son Michael Ray, and daughter, Debbie Kay.
Murel was preceded in death by her parents Hershel and Ollie; her husband Jim; son-in-law Steve Tune; brothers-in-law, Tex Feutral, Earl McCall, and Lyle Smotherman; three sisters-in-law Norma Beasley, Hazel Smotherman and Karlene McCall.
Murel is survived by her son Michael, daughter Debbie Tune both of Summersville, Missouri; three grandchildren, Justin Tune and wife Jessica of Summersville, Missouri, Brandi Gentry and husband Jerad of Houston, Missouri, Jessica Kaut and husband Jarad of Summersville, Missouri; seven great grandchildren, Parker, Reed and Graham Tune, Nova and McCoy Gentry, and Carter and Sophie Kaut; sister Marium Feutral of Summersville, Missouri, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Murel dedicated her life to the Lord and her family. She was a long time member of the Oakside Community Church. She set the perfect example of a woman of God for all those who knew her. Murel stood by her husband Jim’s side and helped manage daily farm operations, took care of their children, and had a large impact on her grandchildren’s life. She was known to her husband as a faithful, supportive best friend, her children as a loving mother, her grandchildren as the woman who could make anything better, and her great grandchildren as being funny, nice, and caring for others more than herself. She found enjoyment in helping others, cooking for her family, spending time in the garden, canning, her outings with Marium, watching her great grandchildren play, and having her house filled with family. All that knew her was blessed. There are no words to describe how greatly she will be missed.
