Neoma Irene White

Neoma White passed on Monday morning, May 14, 2018 at her daughter’s Donna home in Lebanon, Missouri making her age 90 years 6 months and 13 days. Neoma Anderson White was born to the union of Dorothy Breeden Anderson and Jeremiah Anderson, on October 31, 1927. Neoma was the oldest of four children, her siblings who preceded her in death were Bertha, Darlene, and Alva.

On August 7, 1943, Neoma married Hershel Harvey White. To their union , seven children were born. Surviving children are Karen Sue White Bathon, and Donna Kay White Garrels, Preceding her in death was her husband, Hershel, sons- Kenneth Lee White , Gerald Ray White, Harold Vernon White and Donald Keith White and daughter, Janet Marie White Taylor

Neoma has 22 grandchildren and many, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She has left behind many friends and family who will miss her and remember her fondly.

Anyone who knows Neoma knows she was a loving and giving person. She has cared for most of her family members who have preceded her in death. Provided food and gifts for families in need and even bought school supplies for teachers, so everything did not have to come from their own pockets. She gave back as much as she could financially. Many of us have needed her kindness over the years and she opened her heart to anyone she could provide for. Neoma was an exceptional and strong woman and was a positive role model for many.
