James Lee Bradford the son of George Emmett Bradford and Flora Beth (Starnes) Bradford was born October 16 th , 1957 at West Plains, Mo and passed away at Birch Tree, Missouri on Tuesday July 31, 2018 at age of 60 years, 9 months and15 days.
James was united in marriage to Sherry Lynn Grogan, December 8 th , 1978. To their loving marriage 2 children were born, Amanda Lynn Bradford and James Lee Bradford Jr.
James was most passionate about his relationship with Jesus Christ. He was ordained at Tiger Mountain, Henryetta, OK on June 26, 2011. He followed in the footsteps of his father and was the pastor of Midvale International Pentecostal Holiness Church. He loved the church and its members. He was always lifting them up in prayer. James was a man who could be described as one who lived what he preached. He will be greatly missed by his church family.
J ames was employed at MoDOT for 18 years. He was shed supervisor at Winona.
James’ other great passion was his family. He and Sherry were married for 39 years and they were best friends, they were always together and James treasured his time with Sherry. During his sermons he would always refer to her as, “babe.”
Family time was very important with James and he spoke of it often as he told stories of Amanda and James Lee and you always saw him with his grandchildren, whom he loved very much. Some of favorite past times were the farm, going on vacation and riding his motorcycle. He will be greatly missed by his family.
James is preceded in death by his father Emmett Bradford and his brother-in-law Keith Grogan and his twin grand-sons.
Surviving James are his wife Sherry of the home, his children; Amanda Bradford and special friend, Grant Ferren, of Summersville, MO, James Lee Bradford and wife Lisa of Teresita, MO, grandchildren, Chenoa & Chakori Bradford, Harrison Prewett, Zoe and Jaylee Bradford, brother Doyle Bradford and wife Colleen, sister Waneta and husband Calvin Cooper, mother Beth Bradford all of Summersville, MO. And a host of nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a loving church family.
