Patricia "Patti" Ann Steele

Patricia A “Patti” (Burk) Steele, 87 of Summersville, MO. passed away Monday, January 11, 2021, at Mountain View Health Care.

Patti was born November 14, 1933 in New Ross, Indiana. She was the daughter of Earl and Naomi (Turner) Burk.

She graduated New Ross High School in 1951. On February 13, 1952, she married her high school sweetheart, William “Wayne” Steele, he survives her. Their marriage lasted 69 years, their love affair 72!

She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Charles Thomas and Bernie Lee.

Patti has many nieces and nephews, all of whom she enjoyed.

Patti spent 20 wonderful years working for Indiana Bell Telephone Company in Crawfordsville, IN. She and Wayne then moved to the farm outside of Summersville. Patti worked at The Bank in Summersville for 38 years. She made many friends over the years and loved taking care of her customers.

No services are planned. She will be interred back home in Indiana.
