Listen to Obituary

Patricia Ann (Terrill) Koller was born on February 16, 1943, in the State of Washington to Glen Edward Terrill and Opal Betty (Bissell) Terrill. She was the youngest child, forever known as “Patty Ann” to her two older siblings, who predeceased her, James “Dub” Terrill and Wanda (Terrill) Gaston.

Shortly after her birth, her family soon returned to the rural Missouri area near Flat Woods. It was there that she attended the Church of God of Prophecy near Flat Woods. She attended Summersville, Missouri area schools for the entirety of her education. On October 30, 1960 she married her high school sweetheart, Donald Ray Koller, and they enjoyed 65 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on January 1, 2026. To their union, Don and Pat had two children, Brenda Jean and Ginger Dawn. In the earliest years of their marriage, Don and Pat resided in Orlando, Florida briefly before returning to Missouri for a short time in Winona, and eventually back home to Summersville, MO.

Together, in Summersville, they built a life centered around their grocery store, Koller’s Foodex, which they owned and personally operated from 1968 to 2012. Pat’s work ethic was like no other, and she could almost always be found working in the store, whether stocking shelves, running the registers, or doing bookkeeping. She often shared her love of baking with others by bringing her batches of Christmas candies to give away at the grocery store. Pat was never able to be idle, and her non-working hours were filled with her love for reading, growing flowers, and quilting. Following their retirement from the grocery store in 2012, she and Don could often be found together cutting wood, mowing grass, gardening, or doing anything that involved physical labor around their farm. During the quiet hours, she loved reading history and genealogy and working on quilts to give away to others. While she was small in stature, her heart and spirit of giving were large. She was fiercely loyal to what she loved, and one of her greatest joys was her family, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, two siblings, and the love of her life, Don.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Jean Hunt (Curtis) and Ginger Dawn Koller Joyner (Paul); their children Ryan Hunt (Amber), Nichole Ashlock (Josh), Bailey Koller Gruben, and Brayden Gruben. Her great-grandchildren, Hunter Ashock, Koller Ashlock, Freeman Ashlock, Harper Hunt, and Sylvie Hunt, also survive.
