Sharon Kay Brim, the daughter of Richard Columbus and Carolyn Kay (Turner) Stricklin was born December 27, 1962 in California. She passed from her earthly home to her Heavenly home on January 1, 2020 at the age of 57.
Sharon grew up in a military family, traveling to wherever her father was stationed at the time. She graduated high school while they were living in Japan. She married the love of her life, Gary Brim, on November 2, 1984 and they were blessed with two daughters, Amy and Julie.
Sharon loved the Lord and was never afraid to say so. She and Gary attended the Countryside Church at Hartshorn. She was a faithful prayer warrior, always the first to pray over any person or situation.
She enjoyed working on the farm alongside Gary as well as working in the garden, canning over 100 quarts of green beans every year as well as many other things the garden provided. Sharon also loved spending time with her family and watching her grand babies grow.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard; an infant grandbaby and her father-in-law, Herman Brim.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Gary of the home; daughters, Amy Bryant and her husband Brennon of Hartshorn and Julie Flinn and her husband Kyle of Pacific; her grandbabies, Ryleigh, Christian and Addie; her mother, Carolyn of Mtn. View; brother and sisters, Richard, Diana and Barb; mother-in-law, Dorothy Brim; brother-in-law Lynn and sister-in-law, Betty Jackson.
Sharon was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend and she will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her.
