Sharron Jean Sipes

Sharron Jean (Butler) Sipes was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 8, 1931 to Edward and Elizabeth (Chilton) Randolph Butler.  She passed away at the Rock Point Nursing Center in Birch Tree, Missouri on July 20, 2021 at the age of 90.

Sharron grew up in the Washington, Missouri area.  At the age of 16, she started working at Johansen Shoe in St. Louis, Missouri and later worked for several printing companies in Missouri and California and in January of 1977 she began working for Gulf Printing in Houston Texas until her retirement in May of 1993.

Following retirement, Sharron returned home to Eminence, Missouri to be near family.  She was quick witted and had a wonderful sense of humor.  She also love her cats and was the true definition of a “cat lady!”

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward Butler and Elizbeth (Chilton) Randolph Butler; brothers, Vern Randolph and Dean Butler and a sister Pauline Lohmeyer.

Sharron is survived by an aunt, Sadie (Chilton) Dodson of Eminence as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins who all loved her dearly.
