Skyler Lakota Chretien “Little Bird” was born August 19, 2000 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Cheryl Chretien. He entered into eternal rest on December 2, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 19. He was very loved by his parents, Cheryl Chretien and Leigh Grammar(Aunt Leigh).
Skyler attended Summersville Elementary and High School, graduating with the class of 2019. He also attended Vo-tech where he loved learning automotive repair and welding, which led to his welding job at the Durham Company in Houston.
In Skyler’s downtime he could always be found working on his rigs, on his phone or mudding and backroading. Skyler was most proud of his “Big Speakers” on his flat bed “tank” and the comfort of the bench, as the kids enjoyed the jam sessions. He also enjoyed traveling with his parents and staying in hotels.
Preceding him in death was his grandmother, Nancey Lee Beaudein Chretien-Collins.
Skyler is survived by his parents, Cheryl Chretien and Leigh Grammar of the home; grandparents, Robert Chretien of Salem, MO and Willie and Joyce Grammar of Summersville, MO; adopted grandma, Dorothy Conner of Summersville, MO; an aunt, Charlene Thompson; uncle, Robbie Chretien, uncle David and uncle Nate as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
