Steven Ray Breedlove

Steven Ray Breedlove was born June 9, 1957, at Houston, Missouri, to Donald Lee and Mary Louise (Campbell) Breedlove. Steven passed away at his home in Bucyrus, Missouri on October 5, 2025, making his age 68 years.

Steve grew up in the Houston area and attended Houston High School. He later graduated from college and spent several years working at the Opportunity Sheltered Workshop.

Steve attended many different churches throughout his life. His last church home was Success Baptist Church until his health no longer permitted him to attend.

Steve loved fishing, hunting, listening to the Cardinals, and especially watching the Kansas City Chiefs on TV. He was a person no one could forget. His memory will live on in our hearts forever.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lee Breedlove (Donnie); his brother, Donald Lee Breedlove Jr. (Dune); and his nephew, Justin Breedlove.

Surviving are his mother, Mary Breedlove; his brothers, Roger Breedlove (Regina) and Kevin Breedlove (Michelle); his sister, Donra McCown (Virgle); as well as many nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Steve will be remembered as a gentle, kind-hearted man who loved his family, loved the outdoors, and loved cheering on his favorite teams. His easy smile, warm spirit, and steady presence made an impact on all who knew him. Though he will be missed greatly, the memories he leaves behind will continue to bring comfort and joy to those who loved him.
