Susann Dooley was born July 1, 1948 in Dayton, Texas to James Felix and Dorothy Colleen (Shane) Glover. She passed away at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center on August 10, 2021 at the age of 73.
She was united in marriage to David Michael Dooley on April 17, 1968 in Pasadena, Texas and they were blessed with three boys, Larry Michael, Derek Wayne and Daniel Brandon.
Susann grew up in Pasadena, Texas and she and Mike moved back to Shannon County in 1982. She attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Winona as long as her health allowed. She worked for 13 years as a cook at the Cross Country Trail Rides in Eminence, sometimes cooking for over 5000 people.
She enjoyed crocheting, putting together puzzles, playing card games such as Canasta, Skip Bo and Phase 10. She also enjoyed a good game of dominoes and Rummikub. Sue also loved to dance but most of all she loved to cook for and spend time with her family and friends.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Glover; two brothers, James and Grady; a sister Bonnie and a grandson, Landrick Shawn.
She is survived by her husband of over 53 years, Mike; her sons, Larry Michael Dooley, Derek Wayne Dooley and his wife Brandi and Daniel Brandon Dooley; grandchildren, Anisha and her husband James Chaney, Christopher, Chassity, Kevin, Gunnar, Gustin, Jerry and Huntlee Grace; great-grandchildren, Michael, Larry and Madelyn as well as a host of other family members and friends. Sue will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
