Theoata May Pruett

A private family graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 25 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Mountain View.

There will be no formal visitation but family and friends may call upon Bradford Funeral Home from 11:30 AM to 1:15 PM, Wednesday March 25.

Theoata May Pruett, age 83, of Mountain View, Missouri passed away peacefully on Friday, March 20 ^th , 2020. She was born October 1 ^st , 1936 to Emilio Isreal and Mabel Ford-Isreal at their home in Kansas.

Theoata was a faithful follower of the Pentecostal faith, and she and her husband spent many years as pastors of their own congregation in and around Mountain View, Missouri. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading her bible, and attending prayer meetings.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, brothers Noah and Louis Isreal, and sisters Teresa Lloyd and Cora Isreal, husband John Delbert (JD) Pruett, and her sons Roy and Buddy Pruett.

She is survived by her grandchildren Erica Pruett-Shoemaker and great-granddaughter Kaylie Shoemaker of Cabool, MO, and Gregory (Arron) Pelc of Kansas City, MO, her nephews Jim, Russell, and Tony Isreal of Tulsa, OK, many cousins, and many dear friends. Theoata will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband on Wednesday, March 25 ^th , 2020 at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Mountain View, Missouri.

Theoata was a kind soul to everyone she met and touched many lives during her time here. She will be dearly missed.
