In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to the Trey Fiske Memorial Fund.

James Dean Fiske III was born September 13, 2004 in Houston, Missouri to James Fiske Jr. and Sarah (Hawkins) Jones.  He passed away March 5, 2022 in Summersville, Missouri due to a tragic automobile accident at the age of 17.

Trey attended the Summersville Christian Church and was baptized by his father Jimmy on February 12, 2012.  He was a Junior at Summersville High School where and was very active in sports, playing basketball, baseball and running cross country.  Growing up, Trey played in both the local sports programs where Jimmy coached many of his teams and they would also travel all over the country playing on travel ball teams.  He was attending the South-Central Career Center auto mechanics program.  He loved working as a “grease monkey” at Jeff’s Auto and Tire and was always willing to tackle any job they threw his way.

Trey loved the outdoors. He grew up in the log woods with his dad, Noah and Papa Jim.  Trey gained his love of working on vehicles from a very young age both with his Papa Tom and also working on the Fiske family’s logging equipment and vehicles. He would spend hours just taking things apart to see how they worked. He also enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, spending time at the river during the yearly family camping trips and playing in the mud. Trey and Noah embarked on many four-wheeler riding adventures always traveling between their house and Papa Jim and Nana’s.  Trey also took great joy in riding horses with Sarah, Omar and their Salem family and friends during their annual trips to the trail rides in Eminence.  Trey was the ultimate big brother that gave support, teasing and love to Noah, Bekah, Josh and to his cousins that he loved like sisters.  Growing up, Trey, Tristan Duncan and Josh Prisco were inseparable, they were like brothers at heart.

He was preceded in death by his Papas, Jim Fiske and Tom Hawkins; his uncles Johnny Hawkins and Jeff Baker and great-great grandmother, Pearl Hawkins.

Trey is survived by his parents, Jimmy Fiske and Sarah and Omar Jones; his siblings, Noah, Rebekah and Joshua Fiske; grandmothers, Pam Fiske and Devlyn Hawkins; great grandmother, Bonnie Ament; aunts and uncles, Lori and Chad Montgomery, Becky and Ryan Havens, Dana and Jimmy Buschmann and Tommie Hawkins; cousins, Zac and Kate Alcorn, Gus and Sydney Hawkins, Nate and Kenzie Cook, Austin Row, Patrick Hawkins, Alaina Baker, Adam Montgomery, Isabelle Havens, Emma Havens, Jenna Havens, Andrew Buschmann and Elizabeth Havens; his girlfriend, Jaiden German as well as numerous great aunts and uncles, cousins other family members and friends.

Trey had a smile and personality that would light up a room. He loved life and gave 110 percent in everything he did, whether he was on the field, the court, running cross country or working he gave it his all and then some.  Trey had a huge heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need.  His passing leaves a major hole that can never be filled but we know he is rejoicing in Heaven with his Papa Jim and Papa Tom.
