Vera Jean Franklin

Vera Jean (Heiney) Franklin was born on April 30, 1958 in Rolla, Missouri to Daniel and Edna Marie (Headrick) Heiney. She passed away on March 4, 2019 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 60.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, 2 brothers: Vernon Heiney and Danny Heiney; and a sister Dianna Barton.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Linda Christopher and Salina Mitchell; 2 sisters: Mona and Joyce; 3 brothers: Ivan, Bob and Jim; 4 step-children: Arthur, Brandi, Teresa and Alyssa; 18 grandchildren, with another one due in April and also by Mike Arnold, her partner of 15 years.

Vera enjoyed sewing, crocheting and quilting but most of all she enjoyed spoiling her grandkids.

Vera was loved and cherished by everyone she met. She brought joy into the lives of so many people and her passing will affect them all for years to come. Vera will be dearly missed.
